Kei Toku Chin
This Chinese restaurant has two locations. It was recommended by my future brother-in-law for having very good mapo tofu. We love mapo and Sichuan food!
Service (aka small dishes provided by the restaurant)
Gingko nuts, small scallops, mushrooms and bell peppers in a savory brown sauce. If you've never tried ginkgo nuts before, I highly recommend them. Great texture and nutty flavor.
Dan Dan Mein
Fantastically spicy (and oily) broth with thin noodles and minced beef.
Steamed Beef in Spicy Sauce
Steamed beef is soft in texture and picks up the fiery sauce.
Mapo Tofu and sauteed greens
We ordered one spicy and one less spicy. Chinese food is best shared by everyone at the table, offering tastes of all the dishes without overeating. I appreciated how the restaurant offered a plethora of small side plates to share the different dishes.
This was a great meal with my fiance's family, and a wonderful chance to meet his BIL.
A friend of mine from Yokohama took me here. I agree with everything you said here.
