Ode to the Falafel

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways... crunchy exterior, delicious fresh toppings, hot fluffy center, portable, and vegetarian! Maoz regular on whole wheat pita. Decent variety, but better toppings at Amsterdam Falafel. The flavor of the falafel was good, but my crazy array of toppings overwhelmed the crunchy and hot falafel balls. Sometimes less is more. Best falafel ever. Street-side near Rosh HaNikra, Israel. Tahini sauce on top, with fresh cucumber, radish and tomato, this had the right balance of hot, crunchy falafel in a warm pita with toppings.
