My boyfriend was under the weather over the long weekend. I dragged him out of the apartment to do a grocery run to Super H Mart to refresh our larder. I think he agreed to go because he knew we would stop to eat at the food court. Sometimes you need to eat some comfort Korean food no matter how under the weather you feel.
Yukke Jang soup
Shredded beef with vegetables in a spicy broth, with rice, kimchee and kimchee radish
Pan-fried Mandu
I think I prefer the shape of Japanese gyoza better, but these are satisfying in their own way.
My favorite
Soon doobu with seafood, rice and kimchee
